Shaun & Jessica Tyndall

Shaun and Jessica met in the summer of 2002 in Gumboro, Delaware.  We officially started dating July 21, 2002, and here we are exactly 5 years later planning the big day!

We were introduced by Carrie Wilson (bridesmaid) and her boyfriend Brandon Synder.  Carrie is a great friend of Jessica's and the two girls have remained close through field hockey seasons, basketball practices, softball games, trips to peer tutoring and college at the University of Delaware. Brandon and Shaun have known each other for years as well. In fact, Shaun and Brandon parents were good friends in high school.  The two of them went to high school together as well as played soccer together.

One night in June, 2002, Brandon had a party at his parent's house in Gumboro.  He had just started dating Carrie and thought it would be a great opportunity to meet all of her close friends.  So, a few girls from Bethany Beach (Kami Banks, bridesmaid, and Betsy Dupont) loaded up in Jessica's car to a party in Gumboro. As soon as we pulled up, Carrie ran up to Jessica and told her that there was a perfect guy for Jessica at the party and she just had to meet him.  His name was Shaun Tyndall.  Even though Shaun wasn't the nicest guy to Jessica at first, he did call her a week later to take her out to dinner.  After saying yes, Jessica then canceled on him and re-scheduled for a lunch date. To this day, it was the best lunch Jessica has ever had.
